2. About this policy

This policy explains what personal data we process through hilfe-vet-website.pages.dev, why, for how long, and what rights you have.

It follows EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018.

3. What the site collects

3.1. There is no contact form

We collect no personal data through web forms. The site has no forms, no chat, no embedded maps and no social media buttons. The only way to contact us is by telephone, at your initiative.

What you tell us on the phone (your name, your animal's species and problem, your address) is used only to answer you and, if you come in, for the animal's medical record.

3.2. Data collected automatically

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes at server level:

• IP address (anti-bot, pseudonymised);
• browser type and operating system;
• page visited and time of visit;
• the source you arrived from.

This is used solely for security and performance. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any other marketing tracking. See the Cookie Policy.

3.3. What we do not collect

• No card data — the site processes no payments.
• No behavioural profiles and no automated decision-making.
• We do not sell or rent data to third parties.

4. Your animal's medical record

A pet's medical record is not a special category of data under Art. 9 GDPR — animals are not data subjects. The owner's identifying details in that record (name, phone, address) are personal data, processed to perform the veterinary services contract and to meet the record-keeping obligations imposed by veterinary-health legislation (including microchipping and the EU pet passport, handled through the ANSVSA / RECS systems).

Those records are kept at the practice, not through this website.

5. Legal basis

• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — site security and operation.
• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — the veterinary services you request.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — veterinary-health and accounting records.

7. Who we share data with

Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and security (processor). Transfers outside the EEA rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Public authorities, only where the law requires it (ANSVSA, DSVSA, tax authority, courts).

8. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

Exercise them by calling +40 747 603 498. We reply within one month of receiving the request.

You may lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, the Romanian supervisory authority — dataprotection.ro.
